Chris Sharma has made the first ascent of
Jumbo Love 9b in California, in the Clark Mountain crag. Chris has commented his ascent stating that Jumbo Love is the hardest climb his has done.
Jumbo Love is located in the Mojave National Preserve in the Clark Mountain crag.
Jumbo Love is more or less 80m long and goes through a 45° hoverhang.
First bolted by Randy Leavit, was subdivided in 3 pitches. Chris Sharma climbed it as a single pitch, making it an extreme endurance test!
Chris Sharma has frred some other hard routes this year, and among them Gancho Perfecto (9a, Margalef) and Papichulo (9a+, Oliana).
